Lost Dutchman is one of my favorite places to photograph in the Phoenix area.
Desert mountains, tall cactus, and purple sunsets that you can see all the way to California.
Recently I shot Emily and Nick’s engagement session out there.
I love hearing how two people meet and connect.
Emily and Nick have known each other since middle school, but they really became friends when they ran track together in high school. Nick is a year older than Emily so he would give her rides back to the school where our moms taught at every day. From there the car rides became more chatty and the rest is history!
Nick and Emily love to travel so its only fitting he asked her in another state.
They were in Napa for my twin cousins first birthday over Labor Day weekend. On Sunday, they decided to take a trip to San Fransico which is one of my favorite places on earth. On our way out of town, Nick decided that they should stop in Sausalito and look at the boats on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge. Nick pointed at something on the bridge and Emily was looking closely for it and all of the sudden she heard, are you ready for this and turned around and he was on one knee.
I love asking my clients what they enjoy doing together. Nick and Emily’s answer about Zillow had me in stitches because that’s what my husband and I love doing!!!!
We enjoy just being together. We love watching Netflix together, look at houses on Zillow and talk about the future. We love taking the dog on walks, hikes or to the park. We like to try new things together like snowboarding and adventure courses. We love to travel together and our favorite place we have been is to Scottland!
Congratulations Emily and Nick!! Counting down to Nashville next year <3
xoxo
